Is there a Video for changing the Background of a text box to white and not see though so that you can put it over a item in a drawing? Like an over lay. But every time i print it comes out black. Would this be a printer setting instead? I can do it AutoCAD Mech. and solidworks.

Good to see PTC add - one would think - the basic functionalities that other CADs have since 2005 :) One that's missing is the ability to create multiple features from a single sketch...wonder if it's ever going to be added. Other than that - OK, nothing revolutionary.

It's a nice Creo Illustrate introduction, quite different to the other ones and I like it. Would you be able to address changes made to the communication with Windchill? Using Direct Link instead of WGM and perhaps touch on the workflow for assembly updates coming through where a subassembly comes pretty much the same but with a different number and a couple of parts replaced? Or if there's a way to reuse majority of illustrations when just a different version of the same product or module exists but requires a separate file? Like the loader with just two different sets of the spoon subassembly.

17:15 Not exactly. If a change pertains to an assembly (not a single part!) theneveything contained in the assembly is gone from all of the figures and needs to be redone. Sadly, even though replace part tool exists there's nothing which allows to point that 90% of the assembly is the same, just two parts were different and the assembly had to have a different name.

Do I need to place the images into creo's directory? My appearences dissapear after I quit and reopen

I wonder if there is a way to explode decently all the single piece of the assembly with 1 click? so to be able to create almost immediately a nice spare part table. This would mean the screws must explode on left side, some other parts explode to the top, etc.... thanks

I got very excited when I found this video! I have been using a repeat region table to leverage auto-balloons - but, I have to have three different symbols, one with qty on the left side, right side and no qty. I saw this and thought HOLY BUCKETS, I can make the qty Groups and then just select the one I want. Alas, "Symbols for BOM balloons must not contain groups." :/ If you have/know of a work around for this, I'm all ears!
